Micajah Stone was born in 1745 in Lunenburg Co., Virginia. He married Apphia Hurt after 1771 in Bedford Co., Virginia. Apphia was born in 1755 in Lunenburg Co. and died about 1813. They had at least eleven children who were:
Bathsheba Stone - She was born about 1765 in Virginia. She died about 1850 in Henry Co., Virginia.
Admire Stone - He was born about 1768. He married his first wife, Susannah Gilpin, on 12 Apr 1794 in Bedford Co., Virginia. He married his second wife, ? Hurt, between 1799 and 1833. No children are known. Admire died between 1800 and 1859.
William Stone - He was born about 1770. He married Nancy Dooley on 13 Aug 1793. William died sometime between 1799 and 1861.
John Stone - He was born about 1772. He married Elizabeth Dooley on 4 Aug 1796. John died sometime between 1802 and 1863.
Micajah Stone, Jr. - He was born 31 May 1775 in Bedford Co., Virginia. He married his first wife, Catherine E. ?, and they had at least one child, Mary L. Stone, who was born between 1797 and 1828 and died sometime between 1890 and 1921. He married his second wife, Sarah Leftwich, on 22 Dec 1801 in Bedford Co., Virginia. Sarah was born 16 May 1783 in Bedford Co., Virginia and died 29 Mar 1837 in Belleville, Lincoln Co., Tennessee. They had at least 14 children. Micajah, Jr. died 7 Oct 1827 in Belleville, Lincoln Co., Tennessee and is buried in the Stone Cemetery there.
